SMITH It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the Grace Hospital at the age of 55 years. Remaining to forever cherish Robert's memory are his beloved wife of 34 years Marion; daughters, Allison (Brian) and Aislin (Jeremy); grandchildren, Avery and Amelie; mother, Beryl Smith; sister, Christine (Ralph, Kelly, Shelly, Samantha) and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Frank G. Smith. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, will at 10:00 a.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba with Rev. Msgr. Louis J. McCloskey presiding. The family would like to extend thanks to the caring I.C.U. and Spiritual Care staff at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to The Grandchildren Trust Fund (c/o Marion Smith).
